Douglas Salt, Frank Salt Real Estate Director has recently returned from a trade mission in Turkey, the aim of which was to raise awareness of Malta’s property market amongst Turkish estate agents and Turkish nationals looking at investing or purchasing property overseas.
Frank Salt Real Estate’s roadshow also saw the participation of Douglas Salt in a trade mission in Turkey organised by the Malta Chamber of Commerce, and President of Malta, Marie Louise Coleiro Preca, as part of her state visit to Turkey.
The mission provided Frank Salt Real Estate with the opportunity to showcase Malta’s property offering and explain the lucrative investment potential that real estate in Malta delivers. Following the event, the company is now making the necessary arrangements to bring down to Malta Turkish companies and high net worth individuals who attended the B2B meetings organised by the Chamber, along with their counterparts in Turkey, giving them the chance to experience the island’s potential first hand.
Malta is a country with big possibilities for Turkey, Douglas Salt said, following his visit. “Acquiring property in Malta by third party nationals for retirement purposes, or to take up applicable residence and citizenship programme, remains popular with many foreign nationals interested in the lifestyle and commercial advantages Malta offers” continued Mr. Salt. “Consequently, investing in a property with the aim of eventually turning it into a profitable rental has become a common trait in Malta for many Maltese, namely because of the increasing demands for such accommodation from locals, foreign students, workers and expats who decide to relocate or retire to the Maltese Islands” .
