Frank Salt Real Estate is the proud co-sponsor of the Mahalla Art Festival which is being organised by the Istanbul based association DIYALOG in cooperation with the Museum MUZA (Muzew Nazzjonali tal-Arti) and Heritage Malta. (Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/mahallafestival/)
Mahalla will run between tomorrow afternoon and the 25th of November in various venues in Valletta and Żabbar. A full programme and description of events may be found on the dedicated website:
Sixty eclectic artists from twenty countries will come together during this festival to raise awareness on global issues such as migration, displacement, nationalism, ecological destruction, dramatic gentrification, diversity, and inequality. For the duration of the festival, art forms will be presented in exhibitions, concerts, performances, screenings and talks.
Important to note that one of the exhibitions, namely ‘Żabbar’s Calling Citta Hompesch’ will be held at 51, Triq is Santwarju, Żabbar, a historic palazzo listed with Frank Salt Real Estate, see: https://malta-gozo-property.com/properties/453055. Julian Caruana of the Frank Salt Real Estate St. Julians Branch was instrumental in providing the venue for the organisers and facilitating all the logistics in getting it ready in time for the exhibition.
